[edit]I thought that the reason Liddy "bleeps" the full name of the Post had to do with the fact that it was the paper that brought him down during Water Gate? I am aware of no copyright issue...Can someone clarify? jme
Is Media Matters a really "neutral" site?
[edit]I mean, it even calls itself a site based on presenting a leftist (at least anti-conservative), point of view. If you're going to quote a site, I'd suggest to quote one that doesn't associate itself with a side of the political spectrum.

[edit]So "convicted criminal" in this article is undue weight but in the opening sentence of the article on OJ Simpson it's mentioned he's an armed robber. How interesting. 65.51.243.195 (talk)<
Korean War Service
[edit]The article under 'College, military, law school' states: "Following graduation, Liddy joined the United States Army, serving for two years as an artillery officer during the Korean War. He attained the rank of first lieutenant and was assigned to an antiaircraft radar unit in Brooklyn for medical reasons."
I think this wording is misleading. Liddy never went to Korea during his time in the military and didn't actively serve in an artillery unit. According to his own autobiography he was in his college ROTC, was called for service and trained as an artillery forward observer, then injured himself during training and was reassigned to a radar unit. The entirety of his military service was done stateside. BarrenScepter (talk) 12:58, 25 June 2024 (UTC)
